Cindy: Oh my goodness, the room was absolutely incredible! But without a doubt, what I liked best was the view from the seafront balcony. Waking up to those breathtaking Caribbean Sea and opulent beach views every morning was just pure magic. And speaking of views, the spacious bathtub right by the window overlooking the sea? Pure indulgence! My room was truly a calm sanctuary for when I needed to reset—it was my comfortable little escape.
And honestly, the 24-hour room service was such a blessing for those times I just needed some quiet downtime.
Q: There are so many amazing, top-rated all-inclusive resorts in Mexico. What made you choose Breathless over another option?
Cindy: That’s a great question! For me, it was all about finding that perfect balance. I was really drawn to the festive vibes that genuinely don’t compromise on the quality of food and accommodation. You know how some “party resorts” can sometimes skimp on the details? Not Breathless, absolutely not!
The high-quality service was evident everywhere; the staff was so caring and fun—they truly anticipated my needs! Cindy: Not at all, it was just right! That’s what truly impressed me about Breathless Cancun Soul. I loved being able to alternate between the three unique pools for completely different vibes. If I was in the mood to socialize and relax, the Energy pool was perfect. If I wanted to unwind with a more chill atmosphere, the xhale club rooftop infinity pool was my go-to. But then, when I felt like partying it up, the xcelerate tower party pool with a DJ was absolutely electric!
And when I needed to truly unwind, the two-story Relax Spa by Pevonia® was a sanctuary. It was honestly such a good balance that I could choose depending on my mood at the moment. Seriously, a dream come true for guests who love variety!
Q: That sounds like a fantastic way to tailor your experience! What can you say surprised you the most during your stay?
Cindy: Without a doubt, it was definitely the food that blew me away! I’d heard good things about Breathless restaurants, but I was genuinely pleasantly surprised by how truly phenomenal it was. I even ended up having dinner at Kibbeh, their Middle Eastern restaurant, not once but twice during my stay—it was just that good!
And for a truly peaceful morning ritual, I absolutely loved starting my days by grabbing an iced coffee to go from the Nook Café. I’d wander through the resort at its calmest, making my way all the way out to the beautiful wooden jetty stretching over the sea. It was such a simple moment, but honestly, those moments made me feel utterly, perfectly spoiled!
My ultimate favorite, though? The champagne bar, especially with that rooftop infinity pool! Seriously, tell me you’re in a luxury resort without telling me you’re in a luxury resort—that’s it right there. It was pure indulgence!
Q: So, if a guest was thinking about a trip to this hotel, what kind of activities can they expect? And what did you really love doing?
Cindy: They are absolutely going to love the activities at Breathless Cancun Soul—seriously, there’s something for every single mood! Of course, you’ve got your essentials: the three fantastic pools and all the standard active offerings like the 24/7 X-ERT gym, snorkeling, beach volleyball, fitness classes… the whole nine yards.
But the entertainment? I was absolutely wowed! Between the DJ parties by the pool, spectacular themed nights where I got dressed up in all-white for a beach bash, the Mega Dance Bashes that kept me moving till dawn, and live music performances as well. I was already in a good mood before I arrived—I was on cloud nine afterwards! The vibes are beyond immaculate; swaying and grooving on that rooftop bar with panoramic sea views? Pure euphoria!
Personally, though, the absolute highlight for me was the Luxury Sunset Sailing excursion. I mean, any cruise is kind of hard to beat, right? But honestly, the tequila tasting? Mind. Blown. I genuinely had no idea it could be such an incredibly sophisticated, premium product, and diving into its fascinating history was a total revelation
And here’s my pro tip: the concierge services were a lifesaver. They were super helpful for navigating everything and planning my schedule. There was just so much to keep track of, so their help was invaluable!
