You’ll find Harrods in the Knightsbridge district, and it’s a real treat! It’s spread over seven floors and is absolutely gorgeous. This wonderful department store was founded way back in 1849 and is actually an official supplier to the British royal family! We all know that shopping at this world-renowned store isn’t within everyone’s budget, but it’s always fun to dream while gazing at the couture collections, designer bags and shoes, and wedding dresses!

It’s a fantastic opportunity to treat yourself to some luxury clothes, shoes and accessories!
Liberty & Co.
The Regent Street landmark is easy to spot thanks to its gorgeous teak and oak beams from the last two Royal Navy schooners. Founded in 1875, Liberty & Co. is well worth a visit just for its stunning Tudor facade. Inside, you’ll find a wonderful array of British and international labels, as well as the house brand using the famous “Liberty” fabric, a beautiful cotton printed with delicate flowers since 1884.

Notting Hill and surroundings
This lovely neighbourhood is world-famous for its vintage shops, which are full of amazing deals! On Pembridge Road, you’ll find three lovely thrift stores right on the street: And we can’t forget about Retro Woman, Retro Clothing Exchange, and Retro Man! At first glance, the storefronts may not look like much, but step inside and you’ll find a treasure trove of goodies at low prices! From fur coats to designer bags and shoes, and even polyester dresses from the 1980s, there’s something for everyone.
Just a little bit further down, you’ll find the Portobello Road Market, which really brings the street to life every weekend! If you’re looking for a wider selection, we’d recommend heading along on a Sunday! You’ll find a lovely, friendly atmosphere where you can browse the vintage clothing and accessories. You might be able to haggle, as some sellers might inflate their prices.
Just a hop, skip and a jump from Westbourne Grove, you’ll find The Merchant, a treasure trove of second-hand luxury items, with pieces from the likes of Chanel, Valentino and Alexander McQueen. The lovely Rellik boutique is a favourite of Kate Moss and Lady Gaga. It’s a treasure trove of designer clothes from the 1970s to the 1990s. One of a Kind is another great spot for unique finds. Its aisles are overflowing with fur coats, 1920s dresses, and other one-of-a-kind garments.
Shoreditch and Brick Lane
This hipster neighbourhood is a real gem! It rivals Notting Hill. You’ll be spoilt for choice at Blitz, with its 20,000 clothes and accessories from the 1960s to today. Also, check out Vintage Emporium, Rockit, Beyond Retro, and the small but carefully stocked Hunky Dory. Finally, the immense Absolute Vintage store is undoubtedly the cheapest in the area – a real hidden gem!
Oxfam and other charity shops
If you’re on the hunt for some amazing bargains, then charity shops are the place to be! They sell donated clothes and items at low prices, so you can find some real gems. There are loads of charity shops in the city, including ones run by Trinity Hospice, Octavia Foundation, Oxfam, and British Red Cross. The best finds are in affluent neighbourhoods like Kensington, South Kensington, and Chelsea. Here, the clothes donated to charities are often branded, so you’ll find some high-end items at great prices. You can even find a pair of Christian Louboutin heels for the modest sum of twenty pounds – what a steal!
